Bansal Public School celebrated Vana Mahotsava week from 20th July 2015 to 24th July 2015 with great aplomb and enthusiasm. Meaningful messages were put up all around the school campus to depict the importance of trees and how they are the ‘lifeliness’. Master Anugraha, set the tone by delivering an illuminating discourse on the importance of the trees in our environment, also made the audience aware about the movement of Van Mahotsava which was initiated in the year 1950 by India’s then union minister for agriculture,Dr. K.M. Munshi.

On the occasion of Vanamahotsav various activities were conducted by the primary classes.

On 20th July, “Plantation Activity” was held by the students of classes III to IV at “Kabir Circle”.

On 22nd July, class II students presented a group song on the topic – “grow more tree” during an assembly hours. This is followed by an inspiring presented by students 3rd, 4th and 5th class.

Class V students presented a very informative skit on the topic “SAVE TREES”. The programme was concluded by an event organiser by giving the message of importance of trees in our lives.
